Job Responsibility

As an IT Governance & System Risk Specialist at bitFlyer, a leading cryptocurrency exchange in Japan, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

The IT Governance Department is responsible for establishing a system to manage company-wide IT and system risks. Additionally, by overseeing activities related to change management, incident management, and other operations across the entire Technology Division, the department ensures that the company's systems and services are built and maintained appropriately and efficiently.

■Main Responsibilities - Planning, promotion, and progress management of IT projects - System risk management, information security management, and reporting - Change management, incident management, and reporting - Handling the above tasks for overseas affiliated companies - Managing key committees (Information Security Subcommittee) - Developing and operating policies under your purview - Responding to various IT audits and inspections

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree or higher
• Practical experience in IT governance, risk management, or internal audit at a company
• Practical experience in system audits or system risk consulting at an audit firm or consulting company
• Communication skills to smoothly work with related departments
• Native-level Japanese proficiency

Nice-to-have Skills

• Practical experience as an engineer
• Experience handling audits by audit firms or inspections by the Financial Services Agency
• Basic knowledge of system risk management (FSA supervision guidelines, FISC Security Guidelines, etc.)
• Basic knowledge of information security management (Personal Information Protection Law, ISMS, Privacy Mark, etc.)
• Basic knowledge of relevant laws (Company Law, Financial Instruments and Exchange Act, Payment Services Act, etc.)
• Practical experience at cryptocurrency exchanges, money transfer businesses, securities firms, or banks
• Experience working in environments with insufficient manuals
• Experience in project management or progress management
• Certifications (CISA, CISM, CISSP, CIA, System Auditor, Information Security Specialist, etc.)
• Business-level English proficiency
